Zuno General Insurance collaborates with NHCX to integrate its Health Insurance Platform with ABHA

Gurgaon, 29th January 2024: Zuno General Insurance, a new age digital insurer proudly announces the successful deployment and the integration of Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) ID with Zuno policy management system to facilitate onboarding on the National Health Coverage Exchange (NHCX).

Zuno General Insurance, the first Insurer to partner with the Ministry of Health, Govt of India, to help create digital health IDs for all the people of India has now now extended this to capture, create and link ABHA with its health policies, well ahead of the extended regulatory deadline of January 31st. This is as a part of the NHCX project initiated by the regulator, IRDAI along with National Health Authority.

This significant milestone showcases Zuno’s agility and technical readiness and its commitment to innovation and customer centric solutions.

This integration provides both the customers and agents with the ability to seamlessly capture, create, and link policies to ABHA. This unique feature empowers customers to effortlessly connect all their health records to their Zuno Health Insurance, offering real-time claims services across hospitals.

The ABHA ID serves as a distinctive account number, bringing together all your health history and insurance records, thereby eliminating the need for extensive paperwork during claims.

Commenting on this achievement, Shanai Ghosh, MD & CEO of Zuno General Insurance said, “Our successful integration with ABHA reflects our commitment to transform the health insurance experience for our customers making it easy, friendly and transparent. This advancement aligns with our vision to leverage India’s digital health stack, providing our customers with simplified access, streamlined processes, and a truly digital health insurance experience.”

The digital access to health records ensures a fully paperless claims process, providing a faster and more transparent claims experience, especially for cashless claims.
