The Latest Real Estate News reveals that the Real Estate Investments in Bangalore are at an all-time high. The majority of the investors are going for non-conventional forms of Real Estate like Senior Living accommodations and Co-working spaces. These investments beyond the traditional ways will create wealth outside of the general market.
The Silicon Valley of India i.e. Bengaluru has seen a great amount of interest in nontraditional Real Estate. The investors are putting their Real Estate Investments in Senior Living and Co-Working Spaces. The developers and operators are enjoying the current market trends, the shift towards senior living and co-working spaces. With a growing population of senior people in our country and a limited supply of houses for them, tapping into this sector will bear great fruits ahead.
“The tilt in the behavior of these investors from conventional methods like bonds, assets, funds, etc towards non Conventional Real estate Investments, will make the economy diverse and shockproof”, Shesh Rao Paplikar the CEO and Founder of BHIVE Group, said.
The real estate investors of India are diversifying their portfolios by investing in the return-oriented markets of non-conventional real estate. The increase in information and real trend analysis also drives Real Estate Investments in these Sectors.
In the upcoming decade, alternative asset classes are poised to attract significant investments, creating robust competition for traditional financial instruments, as highlighted by Shesh Rao Paplikar. The surging demand for quality senior care is catching the attention of investors, who anticipate a rental income of approximately 8-10% with annual escalations, according to Navin Dhanuka.

Real Estate Investments in Bangalore, esteemed for advantages beyond mere financial gains, offer passive income, stable cash flow, tax benefits, portfolio diversification, and the strategic use of leverage for enhanced returns. The advent of real estate investment trusts (REITs) provides an indirect and accessible avenue for individuals to invest in real estate without direct ownership responsibilities. Navin emphasizes that REITs contribute to liquidity and portfolio diversification in the real estate market.

Simultaneously, the Colliers India Report reveals a remarkable conclusion to the 2023 India office market, witnessing 58.2 million sq ft of gross absorption across the top six cities. The final quarter marked the highest-ever demand for office spaces in India, with Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad showcasing exceptional performance since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. Real Estate Investments in Bangalore and Delhi NCR spearheaded leasing activities, accounting for half of India’s total demand for office space in 2023, while Chennai secured a spot in the top three for the first time.
