DDA has opened the applications for 27000 DDA Flats, for EWS and LIG people.
A great opportunity for home buyers in the Delhi NCR region. DDA has opened the application portal for 27000 EWS (Economic Weaker Sections) and LIG (Lower Income Group). This is the largest sale in recent years, with 27000 flats on sale, the prices of the flats are also very affordable making it a great opportunity for the working class people to buy their home.
The Portal opened on 24th November, after the clock hit 4:00 PM. The EWS and LIG Flats are located in Loknarayanpuram, Dwarka and Narela. The DDA flats sale will be based on a first come and first serve basis. The sale is under the Special Festive Housing Scheme. The Scheme includes a total of 32000 flats divided in the following groups- EWS, LIG, MIG, HIG, SHIG and Penthouses. This is the best chance for people to get affordable flats in delhi. The allotment will also be done online.
DDA’s Exclusive Dwarka Flats:
The officials from DDA have told that the sale of the flats will be conducted in two phases, The first Phase Starts on 24th Nov 2023, After 4:00 PM and 27000 LIG and EWS flats will be put on sale where people can fill their application forms on the DDA Website, www.dda.gov.in
The Second Phase will start on 30th November for the remaining flats, these flats are Luxury and Penthouses and these flats will be sold through an E-auction. All the Luxury Apartments are located in Sector 19B, Dwarka. These DDA flats in Dwarka have a starting base price of 1 Crore, for MIG and 5.5 Crore for Penthouse.
According to a news portal, DDA is saying that the registration of their Luxury flats and the penthouses will only start when the construction of their sample flat is complete. So that it will be easy for the customers to actually see what they are buying. Meanwhile the EWS and LIG Flats will be available for applicants from 4:00 Clock, on 24th November.
Earlier this year DDA sold 5623 units in July and 18000 flats in 2021 of different groups. The festive season is the best season for the real estate sector. The schemes like PM Awas yojana is also a scheme by government of India to avail affordable housing.

Note- DDA has stated that it has planned to make this allotment online, it will be issuing the system generated demand letter. It mentioned that you can also apply for the flat even if you already own a house in Delhi.
